Have you ever wonder how a male poser would look in the cover of Total DP magazine. Here is a sample.

Patrick Del Terzo, my friend and coworker loves photography, and I love doing graphic designs. Since we enjoy reading your magazine, he posed for my fictitious cover of Total Digital Photography magazine.

Picture taken with Olympus D-520 Zoom. I masked, enhanced and extracted his image from the background and pasted it as a layer into a new black background.

I added some light and transparency effects and typed the text for the cover. I also used some scanned images from previews Total DP magazines. When the whole layout was ready, I flattened the image and finally I did the magazine effect using Photoshop 3D transform filter, and here is the final result.
